ApexSheets ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: full name, business name, email address, phone number.
- Business data you enter: customers, invoices, quotes, expenses, cashflow records.
- Payment information processed by PayFast (we do not store card numbers).
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and usage logs.
2. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve the ApexSheets platform.
- Process subscriptions, invoices, and support requests.
- Send transactional emails (confirmations, password resets, receipts).
- Detect fraud, abuse, and secure the service.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors required to run the service (hosting, payment processing via PayFast, email delivery). All processors are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
4. Data retention
We retain your business data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for legal, tax, and backup purposes. You may request deletion at any time.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights email support@apex-sheets.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access, and regular backups. No online service is 100% secure — please use a strong unique password.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
